The Alabama Dept. of Public Health announced on January 8, 2021 people 75 years of age or older can register to receive the Covid-19 vaccine beginning January 18, 2021. The addition of these groups is not a full expansion into the next phase of the vaccine rollout.

In response, Whitfield Regional Hospital has created a waiting list for those who would like to receive the vaccine.

Community members 75 years of age or older interested in receiving the vaccination may call Whitfield Regional Hospital at 334-287-2573 for an appointment date and time.

Qualified individuals must be 75 years of age or older and 90 days since a Covid-19 diagnosis.
