Residents of Linden will go to the polls to vote on city leadership positions August 25.
Incumbent mayor Charles Moore will face a challenge from Gwendolyn Rogers.
Three of the city’s councilmembers are not being challenged and will serve another term. Running unopposed are Jan Cannon of District 1, Byron Vice of District 2, and Vonda Wilson of District 5.
There are three candidates running in District 3. Incumbent William Bryant is being challenged by Kelly Anthony and Milison Price.
In District 4, incumbent Barbara Jackson will run against Richard Lankster.
The city election will be held Tuesday, August 25, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, located at the intersection of Tucker Street and Seventh Avenue East.
