During the month of January 2020, annual County Garbage Exemptions must be renewed. Those who do not renew their exemption will automatically go back on paying status for the year 2020 with no exceptions.

To qualify for an exemption, a person’s only income must be from SSI or Social Security. Exemption forms are available at the Solid Waste Office and the County Commission Office. All balances are due in full to Advanced Disposal before an exemption can be processed.

The Solid Waste Office is located in the county Annex Building next to the Courthouse. Hours are Monday through Wednesday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
