Senior Adults Living Triumphantly (SALT), a respite program for adults with dementia or other forms of memory loss, was recently awarded a 2019 Outstanding Community Service Award by the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging at the SE4A conference on Sept. 9. Of the nine-state area that the organization covers, SALT was one of five recipients for the award. Pictured above is a portion of their 76 volunteers, including Brody, SALT’s official therapy dog.
