Wallace Community College Selma will officially announce a service area expansion on July 18,
2018 at 11:00 am at the Demopolis Higher Education Center in Demopolis, Alabama.

WCCS is pleased to announce, effective fall 2019 we will be adding the following counties to our service area:
Marengo, Sumter, Greene, Hale, Lowndes and Wilcox.

A sound educational system is necessary for communities to achieve or sustain economic growth. WCCS is
excited about the opportunity to continue providing access to higher education and innovative technical
training to these counties.

The Higher Education Center will serve as a central location for offerings of academic, technical, dual
enrollment and short term programs. WCCS will begin offering courses this fall and continue to add additional
courses in the spring of 2020.
