Walmart in Demopolis held a ribbon cutting on April 25 in honor of the store adding a Grocery Pick-up option to the list of the store’s services. Shoppers can choose grocery items online, select a time and pick up the groceries at no extra cost. Buffie Jackson, marketing commerce manager, said she and her team have been preparing for Grocery Pick-up for a month prior to the ribbon cutting. Among the celebrators were Mayor John Laney, Walmart staff and the Demopolis High School River City Blue Marching Band.
