Demopolis High School Student Council raised $1,500 for Make-a-Wish of Alabama through numerous bake sales and sucker sales. Student councils all over Alabama collectively raised $12,000 to send a six-year-old boy and his family to Kalahari Water Park and Resort in Wisconsin. DHS contributed the fourth-largest amount among the various student councils.
