FUMC welcomes Kelley as guest speaker at annual Men’s Rally

Matt Kelley of Equip Ministries will be the guest speaker at the fifth annual “Stand in the Gap” Men’s Rally at First United Methodist Church in Demopolis on Friday, Feb. 22.

Kelley will share his story of growing up in a Christian home, the son of a Baptist preacher. Bad decisions led him into a life of bad relationships and addictions to drugs and alcohol. He will tell how God performed a miracle in his life and, after years of brokenness, his life changed and he’s never been the same.
After pastoring for many years, God called Matt to establish Equip Ministries as he sought to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to middle and high school students through drug and alcohol prevention. Matt also speaks at several wild game suppers throughout the year and preaches at churches and conferences.
The Men’s Rally is a free event and a free meal is included. No love offering will be taken. All are invited to attend.
