DHS student leaders speak about clubs, service projects

Demopolis Rotarians were treated with presentations by young leaders from Demopolis High School’s DECA Club on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Destiny Prisock told the club about HOSA-Future Health Professionals, a student organization that promotes career opportunities in the health care industry and delivery of quality health care to all people. Her organization has 92 members.
Abbie Hathcock shared about the Future Business Leaders of America, the largest career student business organization in the world. This club has 108 members at DHS.
Hannah Stidham spoke about DECA, which prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. DECA has 38 members.
Dee Cunningham spoke on a new organization, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, that promotes growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
Each student shared their service projects and ways that they give back to the community.
