James Henry “Jimmy” Dunn, 80, of Gallion died March 22, 2018 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home.

Jimmy was born Feb. 6, 1938 in Grove Hill, Alabama to Cecil and Becky Dunn. He was a retired paper mill electrician and attended Providence Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Faye B. Dunn; son, James H. Dunn Jr.; three step-sons, Eddie Edwards, Bobby Edwards, and Danny Edwards; step-daughter, Leigh Ann Ezell; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Lee Dunn; and a step-son, Joseph Edwards.

Funeral services were held at Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, March 24, at 3 p.m., with Dr. David Stidham and Paul Whitcomb officiating. Burial was at Demopolis Memorial Gardens in Demopolis.

Active Pallbearers were: Joshua Dunn, Jacob Dunn, David Dunn, Walt Ezell, Dustin Edwards, and Shane Dunn.

Honorary Pallbearers were: John Clardy, Butch King, John Wilson, Darren Glass, Paul Whitcomb, Joey Griffin, John Payne Thomas, and the employees of Williams/Transco Corp.
