Mr. and Mrs. Billy Ray Minor of Greensboro are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley LeAnn Minor, to Tyler Matthew Courtney, son of Matthew Courtney of Newbern and Caroline Sinclair Hardy of Demopolis.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Demopolis High School and currently works in the service industry.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Demopolis High School and is currently in the U.S. Air Force and serves as a Radio Frequency Technician, in Warner Robbins, Georgia. The couple plan to reside in Warner Robbins after the ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Minor and the late Harold Minor of Eutaw and also the late Sadiela and Virgil Pippin of Birmingham.

The groom’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rex Courtney of Greensboro, Mr. and Mrs. Mike O’Neal of Demopolis and Rev. and Mrs. Matt Albritton of Wetumpka.

The groom’s great-grandparents are Rev. and Mrs. Walter Matthew Albritton Jr. of Wetumpka.

The wedding will take place April 14, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Clinton, Alabama at 3 p.m. in the afternoon. The reception will take place at the church immediately following the service.

Invitations will be sent, but all family and friends are invited to attend.
