Helen Wilson Partridge went to her heavenly home on Feb. 13, 2018.
Helen is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, devoted wife, sister and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed family, traveling, bridge and life to its fullest.
She lived most of her life in Demopolis and spent the past 13 years at Kirkwood by the River in Birmingham.
Helen was born in Sylacauga, Alabama on May 9, 1922 to Dr. and Mrs. John W. Wilson. She grew up in Tuscaloosa and graduated from the University of Alabama.
Helen was preceded in death by her five brothers: John, Frank, Meredith, Bill and twin Owen. She was also preceded in death by her loving husbands: Robert L. Williams of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Steele Partridge of Demopolis, and Dr. Clarence Partridge of Mobile; and a son, Bob Williams and his wife Janet of Monroeville Alabama.
Survivors include her children, Daisy Partridge Richardson (John) of Atlanta, Julianne Partridge Buckley (Jim) of Birmingham, Charles Steele Partridge III (Teresa) of Linden; grandchildren, Bo Williams, Manning Williams, Mindy Williams Smith, Suzanne Williams, Julia Richardson, Helen Buckley, Michelle Partridge, and Steele Partridge; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Leo’s Catholic Church on Friday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. Rosary at 10 a.m. and visitation at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Leo’s Catholic Church, PO Box 937, Demopolis, AL 36732.
