The 10th Annual Marengo County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony, awards banquet and dinner will be held at the Demopolis Civic Center on Monday evening, Feb. 12, with a gathering period between 5 and 6 p.m. and the program starting promptly at 6 p.m.

There will be a souvenir program containing pictures and names of all past inductees, as well as features on the four new inductees, recognition of the 2017 High School Championship Baseball and Football teams, awarding of annual college scholarship to a Linden Senior Athlete, as well as outstanding fellowship and excellent food.

The tickets are still only $25, but it is expected tickets will be in short supply for this 10th Banquet. Everyone is encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible. They may be purchased from Tom Boggs, Tony Speegle, First Bank of Linden, Westside Branch of RBC, Demopolis Branch of SWSB, or from any board member.

The Hall of Fame has been made possible through the support of the community, contributions made by individuals and businesses, the hard work of the board, and the tremendous number of talented athletes from the past with ties to Marengo County.
