Ernest Hawkins Moore, 82, of Demopolis died on November 25, 2016 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 26, 1934 in Demopolis, Alabama to the late David Alexander and Willie Lee McMillian Moore.

He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Norma Hannah Moore. He is survived by his wife Patricia Coats Moore, daughters Tracy Lynn Keirnan and Jane Elizabeth Lefave; step-daughter Paige Smith; a brother Gorfon Moore and 6 grandchildren: Patrick Smith, Allison Keirnan, Leah Keirnan, Rachel Keirnan, Hannah Lafave, and Amelia Lefave.

A graveside service was held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Jefferson Cemetery. Daniel Gandy officiated and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directed the service.
