The Marengo County Historical Society held Rooster Day in downtown Demopolis on Saturday, April 9. The event featured the Cock’s Crow 5K Run, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and lots of other family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo area that was one of the busiest places of the day as families enjoyed the ducks, chickens, goats and other animals.
