Lera Ineal Hinson Singleton

Lera Ineal Hinson Singleton, 90, of Linden died Sept. 3, 2015 at Marengo Nursing Home.
Mrs. Singleton was born Sept. 7, 1924 in Shiloh, Alabama. She was a former seamstress with Vanity Fair Corp. and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Louie L. (Marie) Singleton of Demopolis; two daughters, Neicey S. (Bud) Cannon and Kathy S. (Kem) Akins of Linden; daughter-in-law, Gloria Singleton of Linden; son-in-law, Victor Chandler of Eagle Lake, Florida; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E. P. Singleton; son, Edward L. Singleton; daughter, Brenda S. Chandler; her parents, Edward Gaines Hinson and Lera Gray Gibbs Hinson; three brothers, William O. Hinson, Morgan G. Hinson, and Melton A. Hinson; and a sister, Clara H. Sullivan.
Graveside services were held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Warren Huggins officiating. Active Pallbearers were: Michael Singleton, Lee Singleton, Charles Singleton, Paul Chandler, Jay Cannon, and Colby Cannon.
Honorary Pallbearers were: the staff of Marengo Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice.
