The Canebrake Players will perform Jason Milligan’s “Key Lime Pie” on Jan. 30-Feb. 1.
“Key Lime Pie” will be one of the first one-act, black box theater performances that Canebrake has performed.
Patrick George will direct the cast of four in the play.
“This is a fun, clean show that many people will enjoy,” George said. “This is my first time directing a show, as well as the first time we’ve done a black box theater at the Canebrake.”
George said the two-scene, one-act play leans toward slapstick comedy. The cast members will be Kelley Mullins, Andi Turberville, Katherine Oakes and Kim Townsend.
Show times will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, and George said each show should last no more than 30 to 45 minutes.
The show follows the story of two sisters who frantically search to find a wedding ring before one of them is due at the alter later that day.
Admission is $5 for all ages.
