Mississippi College freshman Braden Spiller has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association Men’s Golfer of Week for his efforts at last week’s Louisiana College Invitational.

The Demopolis, Ala., native shot a 150 (+6) over two rounds to tie for third at the tournament in Alexandria, La.

He shot 75 in both rounds and followed that up with a tie for 13th at this week’s Millsaps Collegiate Tournament held at Deerfield Country Club.

Spiller shot 77 in both rounds. His second round 77 helped lead the Choctaws to a final round score of 304, the second-best round of the day.
