The Demopolis Tigers (7-1, 6-0) have climbed into the Top 5 in the Alabama Sports Writers Association poll.

The Tigers have fought from being unranked at the beginning of the season to No. 5 in the Class 5A poll by winning Class 5A, Region 4 and only dropping their season opener to Thomasville this season so far.

Sweet Water, Linden and Marengo Academy have all remained in their respective Top 10 polls all season.
