A graveside memorial service for Mary Patsy Windham of Cordele, Ga., will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Henagan Cemetery in Livingston.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services in Cordele, Ga.

Windham, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5 at her residence on Lake Blackshear. She was born in Epes and was the daughter of the late Patrick Boggan May and Mary Eleanor Estes May. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, David Windham Sr. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son and his wife, David “Buck” and Margaret Windham of Albany, Ga.; a daughter, Patricia May Johnson of Bartow, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy May Simpson of Demopolisand Elynor May Harrell of Cuba, Ala.; two grandchildren, a grandson and his wife, David and Becky Johnson of Wauchula, Fla., and a granddaughter and her husband, Elizabeth and Derek Lamb of Evans, Ga.; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Lamb and Kiersten Lamb of Evans, Ga., and Caterina Johnson and Violet Johnson of Wauchula, Fla.; and a niece and three nephews.
