Former UWA lefty pitcher signs with Winnipeg

Former West Alabama left-handed pitcher Taylor Bratton has signed a contract with the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
Bratton, 23, recently completed his college career at UWA by going 4-4 with a Gulf South Conference top 10 earned run average of 2.92 in 13 starts as a senior. The Oakville, Ontario, Canada product posted an 11-15-career mark in 53 collegiate appearances with sub 3.00 ERAs as both a junior and senior.
