The city of Linden will host an election forum with candidates for local offices on Tuesday.

The forum will be May 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the main courtroom at the Marengo County Courthouse.

All candidates for local offices, including sheriff, revenue commissioner and county commission, have been invited to participate. Each candidate will give a short speech and answer questions that have been submitted to the probate judge’s office.

There will also be information given out about voter identification and absentee voting.

Tuesday’s forum was rescheduled from late April due to the threat of severe weather.
