The Demopolis High School soccer team traveled to Tuscaloosa County on Tuesday and came up short, 3-2.
Adam Brooker and Ashley Dunn scored for the Tigers, and Leif Midgorden led the team defensively with five steals.
Head coach Brad Daniels said the team found a lot to improve on going forward.
“This wasn’t our best effort tonight,” Daniels said. “The squad played hard against a top-notch opponent. We found a lot we need to improve. We’ll use this as the first step toward a stronger team concept.”
The loss drops the Tigers to 7-3-1 overall. They will be back in action Friday night at Sipsey Valley High School in Buhl.
