Helen Bradford Harrison 89 of Demopolis, died Saturday, Feb. 15 at Druid City Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Russell Lewis and Mable Parten; and her first husband, Henri Bradford.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Harrison; daughter, Sandra Harrison (James) Buck of Demopolis ; sons, Henri (Jan) Bradford of Linden, Donald Harrison of Ft. Walton, and James (Diane) Harrison of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Allen (Carol) Lewis Jr. of Rutledge, Tenn.; sisters, Laurie Schiffman of Cartersville, Ga., and Dorothy Watts Phillips of Knoxville; grandchildren, Rebecca Bradford (Ben) Parkins Huntsville, Sarah Bradford of Auburn, Matthew Harrison and Kate Harrison both of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Kelly (Celia) Burke of Bartlett, Tenn., Codie Burke of Bartlett, Tenn., and Joe Harrison of Bartlett, Tenn.; and great-grandchildren, Bryson Burke and Madison Burke both of Bartlett, Tenn.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at Linden Memorial Park with the Rev. David Willis officating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 18 at the funeral home with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Active pallbearers are James Peppenhorst, Michael Peppenhorst, Perry Parten, Brett Etheridge, Michael Etheridge and Brooks Davis.

Honorary pallbearers are Gordon Moore, Miles Mayberry, Richard McDonald, Kenneth Harrell, Adolph Davis, Wade Drinkard, Olan Kerby, Meador Jones, Bill Meador, Jack Kerby, Clifford Mitchell and Clarence “Pinky” Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Demopolis First United Methodist Church’s building fund.
