Clinton Worthy

The Rev. Clinton Worthy of Demopolis entered into eternal rest Dec. 26 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. at the First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Edmund Charleston officiating. Interment followed in Jefferson Cemetery.
Survivors include a devoted wife, Jennifer Worthy; two sons, Clinton and Jaylon Worthy, both of Demopolis; four brothers, Woodrow (Marie) Worthy of Akron, Ohio, Walter (Rosiland) Worthy and Timothy Worthy, both of Demopolis, and Irvin Levin (Valaria) Kelly of Winston-Salem, N.C.; four sisters, Jewel Thurman and Wilma Worthy, both of Tuscaloosa, Lucille Worthy and Glenda (Thomas) Miller, both of Akron, Ohio; one uncle, Walter C. Worthy of Akron, Ohio; mother-in-law, Valtina Robertson of Demopolis; and father-in-law, Nathan McGrew of Demopolis; five brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
