The Demopolis Police Department is asking for volunteers to help canvass an area from the Demopolis Civic Center to Martin Luther King Home Apartments to meet at the civic center at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24.

The department continues to look for a Demopolis woman who went missing over the weekend.

Maggie Lean Wright, 57, was last seen leaving the Demopolis Civic Center the night of Saturday, Dec. 21 walking north on Commissioners Avenue.

Wright is described as 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing black pants with pin stripes, a black shirt and a long black trench coat.
