The University of West Alabama women’s volleyball team will hold tryouts on Saturday, Feb. 1st at 2 p.m. at Hughes Gymnasium on campus.

Interested players should contact head coach Jordan Lay (jlay@uwa.edu) to confirm their attendance as soon as possible.

Each participant in the tryout must provide proof of a medical physical, which should be signed by a physician and dated within the past six months. Each athlete will also need a signed sickle cell release form. If the participant is under 18, they must have the waiver and sickle cell release co-signed by a parent or guardian. To participate in the tryout, prospective players must be a high school senior or older. Transfers from four-year institutions must have a release form sent to the UWA Athletics Department compliance office. Participants will also need to bring their own equipment.
