Business Council contest nearing 400 entries

As of Monday afternoon, the Demopolis Area Business Council had received 375 entries into its shop local contest with a value of more than $70,000.
John Scales entered the contest with a receipt from Batter Up and won a $100 gift certificate to Batter Up, sponsored by Jason Windham.
Each of the last two weeks, the DABC has drawn for winners of gift cards. The final drawing will be held on Friday, Dec. 20 with an iPad, a Jawbone and a $100 Visa card on the line.
Elizabeth Morris Lindsay entered the contest with a receipt from Lindsey’s Florist and won a $100 gift certificate to Fleming Photography, sponsored by Rob Fleming
To submit an entry, post a picture of a receipt from a local business of $25 or more to the Demopolis Area Business Council’s Facebook page, or email the photo to demopbusiness@gmail.com.
