Auxiliary honored with state awards

Betty Baxley, Kathy Patterson and Jan McDonald are shown with the Auxiliary’s awards from the recent Alabama Council of Hospital Auxiliaries conference.
The Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary was honored with five awards at the recent conference.
The Alabama Council of Hospital Auxiliaries recognized the BWWMH Auxiliary with three first-place awards and two third-place awards during the conference.
The first-place awards were:
•Special program – Alzheimer Patient Care
•Newsletter
•Yearbook
The third-place awards were:
•Tray Favors
•Special program – Bags for Newborns
Last year, the Auxiliary was awarded two third-place awards for newsletter and tray favors.
