The Rev. Floyd James, 60, of Gallion, the beloved husband of Evelyn Scott James, entered into eternal rest Oct. 4 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 9 at noon at the Bethel Pine Baptist Church in Coatopa with the Rev. Edmund Bell officiating. Interment followed in Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include a devoted wife, Evelyn S. James; daughter, Meaghan Marianne; son, Brandon Scott; nine siblings, Annie (Thessalonia) Isaac of Pennsylvania, Bobbie (Thurman) Parker of New Jersey, Betty (Charles) Shelton, Robert (Michelle) James of Demopolis, Obie James of Coatopa, Tim (Peggy) James, Donna (James) Rhone of Demopolis, McKinley James of Michigan and Alfreda Miller of Georgia; several nephews, nieces, and cousins, including a devoted grand nephew, Ian Scott.
