The Davis Piano Quartet will perform at the Demopolis High School auditorium in October as part of the Two Rivers Arts Council’s Artist Series.

The performance will be Sunday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m.

The quartet is comprised of four pianists: Beulah Askins Folwer, Cheryl Kiker Walls, Cheryl Duncan and Sandra Boykin Nelson.

All four pianists graduated from the University of Montevallo with Bachelor of Arts degrees in music education and studied under the late Dr. Maxine Couch Davis.

The pianists perform using two forward-facing pianos, playing a mix of original works and transcriptions ranging from 19th century to contemporary chamber music.
