LIVINGSTON – The West Alabama softball team along with the Demopolis Dixie Youth Softball League will be hosting the Fall Softball Clinic in Demopolis this fall.

The clinic will be held at the Demopolis Sports-Plex Fields and is open to all area softball players’ ages 6-12. It will be free of charge and is open on four different days: September 14, 21, 28 and October 5.

The West Alabama softball team will be leading sessions that focus on pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders, base-running and hitting. Each clinic will conclude with a scrimmage game also coached by UWA softball players.

“This is a great opportunity for us to be more involved in our community,” said UWA head softball coach Will Atkinson. “It’s also an opportunity to leave a positive influence on the next generation.”
