First Presbyterian Church in Demopolis will host their fourth annual Puddle Jumpers Children’s Consignment Sale on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the church.

The public sale will occur from 8 a.m. to noon, and the half-off sale will be from 12:15-1:15 p.m.

“This is our forth year conducting the sale,” said Nadine Carrington, a member of First Presbyterian.

“Last year went very well, and we hope to do just as well this year.”

Both sales will include gently used children’s items such as toys, furniture and equipment and baby, children’s and maternity clothing.

Carrington stressed that the church really needs consignors for the sale.

In order to be a consignor, a minimum of 20 items must be entered into the sale.

The cost to be a consignor is $5. Consignors also receive one ticket and two guest tickets for the sale’s pre-sale occurring on Friday, Sept. 13.

“Consignors will gain a percentage of the proceeds after the sale,” said Carrington. “All they have to do is bring in their merchandise. We have church volunteers that set everything up, but consignors are welcome to help us break everything down after the sale.”

After consignors and expenses have been paid, the remainder of the proceeds goes to the church’s children’s ministry.

Deadline to apply to be a consignor is Tuesday, Sept. 10, or once the first 50 applications have been received.
