First Baptist Church of Demopolis will be leading a prayer walk Sunday, Aug. 11 at each of the schools in the city. The purpose of the walk will be to pray for the schools and everyone involved with them.

The group will meet at the church at 4:30 p.m., and they will split into four groups and go to Westside Elementary, U.S. Jones Elementary, Demopolis Middle School and Demopolis High School.

Following the walk, there will be a short worship and prayer service at the church beginning at 6 p.m. Childcare will be provided at First Baptist beginning at 4:30 for babies through pre-K children.
