Keandra Lewis of Linden High School and Jerkayla Watkins of Greene County High School are the recipients of the 2013 Shatania Edmonds Scholarship Foundation scholarships.

The foundation works to provide financial support, encouragement and motivation to hard-working, dedicated students that have persevered through grade school and have been accepted into college.

All recipients of the scholarship are required to develop personal responsibility for their community, attend an institution of God frequently and live respectful lives.

Lewis has been accepted to, and will attend, Alabama A&M University in the fall. Watkins has been accepted to, and will attend, the University of South Alabama in the fall.
