Demopolis High School safety Demetrius Kemp is receiving a lot of attention from colleges across the country.

He has yet to make a commitment to any of the schools, but he has received scholarship offers from 12 schools so far.

Southern Mississippi, Georgia Tech, Arkansas State, Appalachian State, Memphis, Mercer, Northern Illinois, Furman, Citadel, Troy, South Alabama and Middle Tennessee State University have all offered Kemp scholarships.

Kemp said he attended a camp at Auburn last weekend, and will be visiting Vanderbilt on Sunday.

He also said there is a camp at Alabama in July that he is thinking about attending.

Kemp was chosen as the Demopolis Times Player of the Year last year after an impressive year on the football field for the Tigers.
