Montgomery inducted into High School Wall of Fame

LIVINGSTON – University of West Alabama Associate Athletic Director and Senior Women’s Administrator Janet Montgomery was recently inducted the West Bend (Wis.) High School Wall of Fame.
A 1982 graduate of West Bend West, Montgomery earned 11 letters while playing volleyball, basketball, and softball.
A two-time first team all-conference selection in volleyball, she led her team to the conference championship her senior year. A two-time first team all-conference basketball player, Montgomery scored 951 career points.
As a West Bend West softball player, Montgomery was a four-time first team all-conference selection, earning the honor twice as a pitcher and twice as a shortstop. The Spartans won conference championships in both her sophomore and senior seasons.
She played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, excelling in both volleyball and softball. A two-time All-America selection in softball, she was inducted into the UW-Parkside Hall of Fame in 1999.
Montgomery was inducted into the UWA Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012, one of just six women to earn that distinction.
