Suspects arrested for Sweet Water teen murder

The two men wanted for the murder of a Sweet Water teenager are now behind bars.
The United States Marshals Service caught Kiunte Furr, 18, in Savannah, Ga. According to The Savannah Morning News, the Gulf Coast Task Force generated information that Furr could be in the Savannah area. The information was then passed to the Savannah Task Force.
Furr was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex after investigators were tipped off to look in that area, according to the report.
He was taken into custody and was being held at the Chatham County jail. According to The Tuscaloosa News, Furr will be extradited to Tuscaloosa.
The other suspect in the murder, Timothy Thornton, 24, turned himself in at the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff╒s Office around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators have warrants to charge both suspects with capital murder. They are suspected of shooting Hunter Callahan, 17, on the night of April 9.
