UWA softball at Tuskegee postponed again

LIVINGSTON – West Alabama’s softball doubleheader scheduled for Monday at Tuskegee has been postponed for the second time in two weeks. The games are expected to, but have not yet been, rescheduled.
The Tigers are 7-2 heading into Gulf South Conference play, which begins Thursday when Alabama-Huntsville visits UWA for a doubleheader that begins at 3 p.m.
Whitney Brown is hitting .573 with 27 runs batted in and 12 extra base hits to lead West Alabama. Of her five home runs, two have been grand slams. Junior Sarah Ray and sophomore Jessica Brock lead the UWA pitching staff with 4-1 and 2-1 records, respectively.
