A service geared with the intent to unite churches all across the Black Belt will take place this Sunday at Demopolis First Baptist Church at 6 p.m.
The Blackbelt Christian Ministerial Association will hold their first community service on the year, since the last service held around the Thanksgiving holiday.
“Pastor Scott Stevens of Fairhaven will bring the message and our music minister Ed Rush will lead the worship,” Carl Williams of First Baptist Church said.
A nursery will be provided for ages birth through age four. Children’s church will also be provided at the same time as the community service for ages kindergarten through fourth grade.
First Baptist Church is located at 109 South Strawberry Street.
