Ashley and Stephen Whittington would like to announce the birth of their twins Marleigh Catherine and Stephen Richard on Aug. 30.

Marleigh Catherine was born at 7:38 a.m. at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Stephen Richard was born at 7:39 a.m. at 5 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Other family members include grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Armstrong of Pell City. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Coats of Demopolis and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Whittington of Flora, Miss.
