Auburn to hold computer training class at DPL

Auburn University will be hosting a free computer training class at the Demopolis Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 1-5 p.m.
In the class, training will include introduction to computers and basic computing skills.
Included in the introduction and the skills, the class will cover the basics of finding jobs online, with topics including:
•Setting up email accounts and picking usernames and passwords.
•Best practices for resume writing.
•Resume resources that people may be unaware of.
•Helpful tips for focusing a job search and researching potential employers.
•Visits to major job sites for both public and private sector jobs and demonstrations of account creation and job search in practice.
