Evelyn Daub Holdsambeck

Evelyn Daub Holdsambeck, 90, a resident of Rangeline Road in Demopolis was involved in a vehicle accident Saturday, Oct. 6 and succumbed from her fatal injuries on Wednesday, Oct. 17 in UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Holdsambeck was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Holdsambeck.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Kirks Funeral Home in Demopolis.

Interment will be at Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Coy.

Officiating ministers will be Jason Fleming and Brian Jones.

Active pallbearers will be Bradley Enriquez, Chase Cummings, Andy Temples, Justin Temples, Dillon Temples, Eric Odom, Drew Varnum, Wade Parker, and Jeremy Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Spencer Fleming, Kelly Horton, and Phillip Maddox.

Holdsambeck leaves one son, Gene Maddox (Carolyn); two daughters, Marie Odom (Collis) and Phyllis (Andrew) McDonald, one sister, Elsie Fillingim and one brother, Charles Yarbrough.

Also she leaves four grandsons, Kelly Horton, Phillip Maddox, Jason Fleming and Spencer Fleming; seven grandaughters, Kim Warren, Michelle Combs, Dena Parker, Lisa Odom, Regena Temples and Denice Varnum, Summer Morris; ten great-grandsons, Chase Cummings, Bradley Enriquez, Drew Varnum, Andy Temples, Justin Temples, Dillon Temples, Eric Odom, Wade Parker, William Maddox and Jeremy Foster; seven great-grandaughters, Randee Parker, Summer Odom, Celia Fleming, Reanna Parker, Alexandria Horton, Kelsey Horton, Cassie Warren, Cheyenne Combs, Madeline and Abigail Morris. Holdsambeck leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.

We had so many wonderful years with her and we were blessed with the gift of her life with us. She is so greatly loved and will be missed so very much.
