Faye Trotman Anton

Faye Trotman Anton, 72, of Linden died Monday, Oct. 8 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. She was born January 21, 1940, in Linden. She was a supervisor at the Old Town Home Assisted Living and a long time member of the Marengo Rescue Squad and the Demopolis Fire Department.

She is survived by daughter Margaret (Bill) Thomas of Demopolis; sisters Leola (Bob) Kennedy of Lubbock, Texas., and Jackie (Robert) Barnwell of Linden; grandchildren Andrew (Ceila) Thomas of Demopolis and Max Trotman of Summerspoint, N.J., great-grandchild Effie Grace Thomas of Demopolis; great-aunt Lena Cunningham of Montgomery; and a host of special family and friends.

She is preceded in death by son Glyn Trotman; parents Lee Burge and Eldean Burge; and brother Leland Burge.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jack Green officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park in Linden.

Active pallbearers were Andrew Thomas, Troy Mcpherson, Larry Burge, Clark Osburn, Bily Palmer and Len Pope.

Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Simpson, Gary Malone, Roger Burge, Sam Burge, Mike Barnwell, members of Marengo Rescue Squad and the past and present Staff of Old Town Home Assisted Living.
