The Demopolis Lions Club will hold their annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 13.
“The monies raised will go to support several causes throughout the year,” Kathi Wilson, Lions Club president said.
The plates include pancakes, sausage, and the Famous Fruit Cup.
Wilson said she has seen the pancake breakfast grow over nine years she has been a member.
“I remember when I first started and my task was to cutting up the apples,” she said. “This is our 10 year milestone.”
The Lions club has supported several local events and groups throughout the past such as Boy Scouts, the Demopolis City Schools Foundation, the Distinguished Young Women program and the Demopolis Fire Department.
The orders are pick-up only from 7 to 9 a.m. at First Baptist Church, where the food will be prepared starting early Saturday morning around 4 a.m., Wilson said.
Tickets are $7, and they are available from any Lions Club member, or interested persons can call 334-216-1029 or 334-289-4313.
