Task force arrests pair for meth

LINDEN – A Linden couple were arrested and charged after a traffic stop revealed precursors to the manufacturing of methamphetamine in their vehicle.
John and Kim Windham, both of Linden, were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing Methamphetamine around noon Friday.
Clint Sumlin, Commander of the 17th Judicial Circuit’s Drug Task Force, said officers executed a traffic stop on the couple’s vehicle on Highway 43 in Linden and discovered several items used to manufacture meth following the stop.
The Windhams were transported to the Marengo County Jail where they await bond.
