Marengo Academy dismissed its students shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday due to the threat of inclement weather.

Linden City Schools dismissed shortly before 11 a.m.

The National Weather Service cancelled a Tornado Watch for the county at 11:45 that was previously in effect until 5 p.m. and Marengo County Schools and Demopolis City Schools officials, as a result, held their students the full day.
