Laura Elizabeth Wilkerson

Laura Elizabeth Wilkerson, 75, of Linden died Friday, Dec. 16 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

She was born March 22, 1936 in Mississippi. She was a clerk with the Salvation Army and member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons John (Lorraine) Wilkerson of Demopolis and Ricky (Cindy) Wilkerson of West Blockton, brothers David Bell of California, Earnest Bell of Thomasville and Curtis Bell of Thomasville, sisters Grace Wilkerson of Thomasville and Barbara Bozeman of Fairhope, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating. Burial was at Demopolis Memorial Gardens in Demopolis.

Active Pallbearers were John Wilkerson Jr., Shawn Wilkerson, Patrick Wilkerson and James Bell.
