Five Demopolis men and one juvenile have been arrested and charged in a home invasion on Elmore Street last week.
Davian J. Elmore, 18, was arrested shortly after the robbery last week. Earnest Hill, 20, and Devontae Jones, 19, were each arrested Dec. 9. Dameon L. Mitchell, 20, was arrested three days later and Kuiante Howard, 18, was arrested Monday, bringing the total to five. A juvenile has also been arrested. All four were charged with Robbery I.
“The suspects entered the home and stole various items from the house at gunpoint,” Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese said.
Items taken range from a wallet and cell phone to food.
“It’s not even that they were hungry, they were just taking it because it was there,” Reese added.
No one was hurt in the ordeal and the case remains under investigation.
Reese extended a thank you to his investigators for their work and quick arrest of the suspects.
