Richard Honeycutt, 58, of Demopolis died Saturday, Oct. 29 at his home. Born March 19, 1953 in Birmingham to Mary C. Lacey Honeycutt and the late Richard A. Honeycutt, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Peggy Jean Mann Honeycutt of Demopolis, mother Mary Carolyn Lacey Honeycutt of Meridian, daughters Brandi H. (Ronnie) McLelland of Meridian, April H. (Lance) Miles of Meridian, Lacey H. (Brandon) Lowe of Oneonta and Crystal Joyner (David) Burford of Meridian, sister Carol H. Price of Calera and grandchildren Alan Burford, Cameron Burford, Clay Lowe, Addison McLelland and Kinsley McLelland, one great grandchild, Presley Burford, one niece Karly Price and one nephew Andy Price.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 6 from 1-3 p.m. at the Boater’s Lodge at the Demopolis Yacht Basin.
Mr. Honeycutt was a loving son, husband, father, brother and grandfather.
He was the owner/operator of Service Sales and Manufacturing in Meridian, Miss.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends in Alabama and Mississippi.
He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
